Oakdale, Pennsylvania Speed Traps

Police will park in the entrance to the cemetery on Union Ave which is on a curve on a steep hill going in/out of ‘downtown’ Oakdale. They will also sit at the top of the hill in a ‘no man’s land’ on 978/Battle Ridge Rd.

Oakdale Borough police sit in several places within a half mile either way of Oakdale Park on Rt 978 / McKee Road. The speed limit is reduced there to 35 mph well before you reach the "downtown" area, even though the road would permit safe driving at a higher speed.
