Palmerton, Pennsylvania Speed Traps

Cops will sit inside the parking lot of the borough bulding usually obscured by other vehicles. Speed limit is 25 m.p.h. but when there is noone on delaware its very easy to get well past that.

Officers sit ON Beltz lane facing Delaware Avenue. Heavy citation area. Speed limit increases to 35 m.p.h. but easy to exceed when heading out of town.

Police will sit in one of the car wash bays waiting for people to speed up to get onto the highway heading out of town. Speed limit is still posted as 25 m.p.h.

As you head towards Bowmanstown on your right hand side there is a clearing on the side of the highway that you may not see because the road curves. The police sit there all the time, but once you pass that you’ll be fine for another mile or so.
