Pennsburg, Pennsylvania Speed Traps

Traveling on Rt 663 from Quakertown to Pennsburg. Police sit at the church on the corner and pull over hundreds of people for passing on the right side when driver in front is turning left onto Geryville pike. Not sure if these are legal stops. Shoulder is marked with white lines and there is a sign with Stay off the shoulder. Traffic sometimes now backs up for a mile or more, especially on Thursdays and Fridays.

I thought it was legal to pass on the Right???

What is worse yet is there was supposed to be a left turn lane put in years ago in a development agreement with two land developers and the local and state authorities. It never happened, go figure.

On 663, after the light at 29. At the Rita’s across from McDonalds, They sit back there. I work in the shopping center across the street and always see them.

Weis Shopping center near McDonalds. They sit back in the corner where the bank is. Especially on weekends at night. The get people all the time leaving the PC Pub. Go slow out of the parking lot. Get a DD if needed. They will get you there.

Sits on Macoby St and catches you coming through Pennsburg on your way to Quakertown as you come down the hill form the light at 663 & 29.

Car is often parked behind infirmary building (across from a footballl field) and is hidden from traffic. Posted limit is 15 because it is a school zone. Pulls at least three people over 2-3 times a week between 7 and 8am.
