Perryopolis, Pennsylvania Speed Traps

Police sit in the parking lot of a club on the right just as yu pass Randall’s Restaurant on Rt 51 heading south toward Perryopolis. As stated above, you come down a hill and limit changes from 55 -45MPH. People are always being pulled over in Perropolis.

I cannot believe Perryopolis, one of the worst speed traps in PA, is not on this list! I travel this route everyday and I know that PA-51 is already a highly patroled highway with obserdly low speed limits. Anyway, it’s 45 through Perryopolis and the cops rotuinely wait for speeders (locals with vascar, sometimes states with radars; both have white Crown Vics) at Randall’s Restaurant, the Moose Club, and the Perry Fruit Market. Make sure you don’t speed through this town, and watch for the vascar lines. Plus, coming south on 51 into Perryopolis, when the speed limit on the hill says 45, they mean it! Randall’s (the most common cop outpost) is right at the bottom.

Perryopolis Police constantly patrol with VASCAR (I think that’s all they have), and PA state police patrol with radar, as well. Coming down a hill heading southbound (near a restaurant called Randall’s), the speed reduces from 55 to 45, and the police always wait at the bottom of the hill. They also always hide near a Moose Club and a Subway Restaurant. I suggest always obeying the speed limit through this town. The police show no mercy in giving out tickets!
