A police vehicle hides behind shrubs or in the parking lot for the Villanova football stadium. Although there are VASCAR lines in the area, they have used tire sensors in the westbound lanes to time drivers. Two officers at the next light then flag drivers over to the side street for processing.

The speed limit on Bryn Mawr Avenue in this area is 35. Radnor police are on South Hunt Road. They are not shy about giving you points either. Try driving 35 and see how often you get tailgated and harassed.

The police usually sit on the eastbound side or even in the middle of the road (!) and use a stop watch or Vascar. There are several white timing lines that they use going both directions. 10-15 over seems to get them rolling so be careful when accellerating towards 476!

The police units hide in driveways between Lancaster Ave and Conestoga Rd. A few friends have been stopped but only going toward Conestoga Rd. Remember, be very careful now in Radnor.. Police have been given a new quota and they will pull you over for 5-10 mph over the speed limit. My Radar detector has no effect in Radnor because they only use VASCAR to time your speed.
