Radnor, Pennsylvania Speed Traps
South Devon Road near Devonwood Road
This is a new sppedtrap. I think today (8/4) was the first day of it. The officer told me the neighbors were complaining. I wasn’t even pulled over, they flagged me down across from the park. So be careful!
Roberts Road near Mill Road
If you are traveling from Haverford Ave/Conestoga Road down Roberts to Ithan Creek, the cop sits about 30 feet back from the intersection of Roberts and Mill. It isn’t really a speed trap but rather a stop sign that many people roll through. The cops pull people over constantly, even if you stop and you’re not behind the actual stop sign pole (which is the imaginary line you’re supposed to stop at and then pull forward from). The cop is hidden behind a huge embankment so there’s no way to see him/her.
King Of Prussia Road near Right by the new Elementry School
Officer sits on off street, the first one on the right-hand side pass the new Elem. School, right off of KOP Road. They sit tucked way up the side street and you really can’t see him until its too late. They use the time device, and clocks it right when you pass the white lines on KOP. However, the white lines dont go all the way across the road and its very hard to see.
Officer said to me they are going to enforce this area more often due to increase in fatal accidents. I live off the street and have yet to hear of any…
849 Goshen Road
1/4 Mile north of intersection w/ Malin Rd. Speed limit drops from 35 to 25. Police using ESP system. New, luxury home development owners complained about having to actually wait for traffic to clear before entering Goshen Rd.
All over: Lancaster Ave., Conestoga Road +
Radnor Police love to hold speed traps all over the township. They are most frequently on Lancaster Ave. through Wayne and E-bound on Lancaster before the entrance to I-476 South.
