Richland, Pennsylvania Speed Traps
Turner Rd.
Northern Regional cop sits in a spot along this road once or twice a week clocking people, usually just in the early mornings (7-9) he hides his car good and u cant see him what so ever if going toward 910 so go slow, i believe speed limit is 25 which seems very slow when doing but who wants to deal with the law, no one
California Road near San Francisco Drive
Stripes on road cannot be viewed by individual timing on the north bound lane. The violation should be challenged and it is in close proximity to station house and the observations not timing, because there are no line, could be estimated from the police lot, which is about 0.25 mile from intersection. Timing is supposedly performed from San Francisco Drive.
State Route 8 North near Bucks Lane
Richland Township police sit on left side of road on abandoned nursery property between a storage building and a greenhouse so as to not be seen before cars passing by can be clocked. Speed limit is 45 miles an hour though most cars do 50-55 mph. This is about .5 miles from the Butler County Line, barely in their jurisdiction. They offer a local ticket for failure to observe traffic safety device or safe speed, so that the payment goes directly to the Township rather than state but this allows an avoidance of points. They are there about 2 to 3 times a week.
