Rossmoyne, Pennsylvania Speed Traps

Rossmoyne Rd. headed south passes in front of Rossmoyne Elementary School.
Where the speed limits suddenly drops from 45mph to 25mph. AND during school hours down to 15mph! There are stripes painted on the road for timing and the foliage hides the cops sitting far back on Colonial Rd. It’s common to maintain you speed coming from a higher volume road & buzz past the school.
Or coming downhill headed North, gain speed & be well above the 15mph school zone limit. By the time you see their cars, well back on Colonial Rd. it’s too late! It’s a maintained speed trap mostly during school zone times!
