Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania Speed Traps

As you cross the green bridge heading towards downtown Selinsgrove there is a curve to turn right and head past the Selinsgrove Veterinary Hospital. After you pass the hospital there is a small hill on the right that police sit at. The speed limit is 35mph at this area and when police sit there, they aren’t there for long before they catch someone. They may also be on the left side of the street. I once passed this area and there were two police cars (one on the right and one on the left). 5 minutes later, I passed them and they had both pulled someone over.

As you enter the town limits, the speed limit drops from 55 to 30, then 20. It looks like there is only one police car, but it does a brisk business. Instead of a fine, the J.P. makes you post a bond, knowing that you will not reurn for trial. A little slice of Georgia up north.
