West Lawn, Pennsylvania Speed Traps

This road is marked 35 but very tempting to speed. The cop sites up on a hill well covered by a small line of trees along the dirt path where he sits.

Heading Eastbound on US 422 from West Lawn after passing under the last elevated highway. Its a slight incline that always seems to encourage people to step on the gas. There’s a 55 mph sign about 1/8 mile from the trap, but until you pass the sign its apparently 40mph. Enforcement is at any time, day or night. The cops tend to wait on the shoulder of the merging freeway (222N) So you have to crane your neck to check the shoulder, which is elevated well above the speed trap. Haven’t heard of anyone getting a warning here in quite some time
