Westfall, Pennsylvania Speed Traps

Police car parks in diner parking lot. Traps cars going from 45 mph limit to 35mph limit.

There is a officer who likes to sit on the side of the Mobil gas station in front of K-Mart.This is a really good spot for him because you don’t see him until it is to late.

Much of this route is a 4lane highway which is posted at 35MPH, as well there is a 15MPH school zone where it turns into 2 lanes but is still a main highway. The most common spots seem to be a set of bushes up on the hill accross from the Kmart/Perkins plaza, the hillside just before and just after the route 84 interchange, the Westfall firehouse parking lot and anywhere in the school zone. They are found in other areas along this route as well but the forenamed ones are the most common. Enforcment is very strict, I have seen people ticketed at 38MPH, don’t trust the "assumed 5mph leaway". Drive the posted limits as this area is always looking for more money.
