Regina, Saskatchewan Speed Traps
Arcola Avenue just north of Park Street intersection
The police often set up a laser tripod where Fleury Avenue intersects with Arcola aimed to catch drivers heading northwest towards Victoria Avenue. They often are set up in the morning rush hour trying to catch motorists late for work in a hurry which of course makes them later for work. They have the caught vehicles turn south on Fleury Avenue so that their activity is not recognized by drivers until it is too late.
Park Street between Dewdney and Railway tracks
Mostly south bound traffic, Laser tripod set up adjacent to chain link fence at Cold Storage Facility. Cop cars not visible, they park inside fence. They walk out and wave you in
Gordon Road near McTavish
Marked or unmarked cars, often out in the open, gun down unsuspecting speeders either West or Eastbound. It’s a 50 zone!
22 Block Albert Street by the Museum
They set up in the bushes and peak around the bushes and nab you when you are heading north on Albert. Usually during rush hour. They then get you to pull into the Museum parking lot to not let others coming up the street notice that they have a trap set.
