Lexington, South Carolina Speed Traps
Interstate 26 East To Charleston near Exit Number 111 to 115
Between exits 111 and 115 marked patrol cars used the various hills and curves to lay waiting for unsuspecting "speeders". This is typically the route to and from the Columbia Metropolitan Airport.
Interstate 26 near Harbison Boulevard
A policeman is using a radar from the overpass on Harbison Blvd. Usually shooting as people a heading towards Columbia and about 3 or 4 Lexington Police are giving tickets to offenders of the speed limit.
Interstate 20 near US Highway 378
Highway patrol sits at the top of the hill after you cross under 378 bridge. They are there about 2~3 times a week and seem to have a good bit of business. Almost always they have someone pulled over.
Mineral Springs Road near US Highway 378
They hide around the curve just past the Welcome to Town of Lexington sign on Mineral Springs Road. Some welcome huh? Typical of anywhere in the Town of Lexington at any time.
State Highway 378 near Lake Drive
Cops hide among the many radar door openers in the area. My V1 detector detects 7 door openers at all times. The Lexington PD runs instant on radar from hiding places (driveways of closed businesses) along HWY 378. 24/7
