Anywhere in the McBee SC area, vehicles will be stopped for more than 3 MPH over posted speed limits

The Town of McBee is now attempting to obtain road spikes for "high speed chases." As if paying a ridiculous fine isn’t enough now everyone who exceeds the speed limit may have to purchase new tires.

This trap is flashed in your face, with a huge warning "Watch your Speed, Speed Trap" posted at the entrance of the town going both directions. The speed, along a 4 lane highway drops from 55 to 45, to 35, to 25 in a span of about a mile.
