North Charleston, South Carolina Speed Traps

Speed limit is 35. DO NOT try to go above that. Police will sit on the side of the road at various places through this stretch, and will ticket you for doing so much as 38 in the 35 zone!!!

This speed trap is located on Patriot BLVD directly past Fort Dorchester High School from Ashley Phosphate road.Cops like to sit it the center lane and catch you as you come over the hill. The speed limit is 35. Make sure to drive no more than 40

Heading from Mt. PLeasant on the Don Holt Bridge. They place a motorcycle policeman on the opposite side of traffic and they have about 5-6 run cars to chase you down and write tickets.

When coming off of I-26 at the Northwoods Mall/Goose Creek Exit. Be careful coming around the curve at Rivers Avenue. You can not see a cop car sitting in the middle median until you’re almost on top of them. Be careful of the middle opening before the trees. They can hide in there too if you’re going from Rivers Avenue onto I-26 right after Northwoods Estates.

Only do 35 mph. Since the officer’s perfer to sit in the vehicles with all lights off.
