US Highway Route 76
The entire city of Westminster is a speed trap. Beware as you enter the city from the west on Route 76, as the speed limit drops to 25mph within a few hundred yards. The same occurs when entering the city limits from the west. City police hide out on the main drag between the BP station at the junction of 76 and the Townville road and the western edge of town, where the route forks toward Clayton, Georgia and Toccoa, Georgia. Police patrolmen will follow a driver closely until given a reason to pull them over. I have been pulled over there twice, and other members of my family have as well.
