at the bottom of a hill on the east side of town
There’s a pretty long stretch of two-lane highway that goes through undeveloped land and some old commercial property on the eastern edge of town. There’s a bike trail parallel to it, but that shouldn’t justify the 25 mph speed limit. There’s a pretty steep hill on part of this stretch of road. Law enforcement sits at the very bottom of the hill at the point where a car would be travelling the fastest. They let the locals pass on by but ticket everyone else – $ 82. There’s a large detour of a state highway going on, and through traffic has to use this road to go through town.
