Highway 18 and 18 Bypass, eastbound toward Hot Springs
As you come in eastbound toward Hot Springs on Highway 18, approaching the 18 Bypass, you crest a hill and the speed limit suddenly drops from 70 to 55 mph with apparently only one sign marking the change. Police are waiting there to clock you the moment you enter the 55 zone, whether you use the 18 bypass to go around Hot Springs or head into town, where the speed limit drops to 35 and then 25.

The speed going into Hot Springs is posted at 35 MPH. As you drive into downtown it drops to 25 MPH. If you don’t see the sign the cops in Hot Springs will get you.
