On the 168 expressway,the last exit before the toll, the will be what seems to be a car broken down in the median. It is actually a Cheseapeake Police officer with a radar gun. He is gunning cars down as they are on their way down to the Outer Banks. As they fly by he will radio ahead to about 15-20 marked cars on the on ramp ahead to get them as they fly by. This normally happens Friday afternoons, especially Memorial Day weekend, Labor Day weekend and when they have big events going on down in the outer banks that bring a lot of tourist for the weekends.
