i am from out of state and want to contest this ticket. i want to be sure it is not posted 45mph. i didn't see a sign and on my return trip looked again and did not see one. any advice on the posted speed (or lack thereof) would be helpful.

It sure has a 45mph posted about a mile from 65mph zone. What I think happened to me is that, they clock you in 65mph zone, a cop in plain car was sitting in that zone I saw the car in my rear view mirror and wondered how someone can park there when the state cruiser is blocks away giving me a ticket. It was not really a plain car, you could tell that it is a police car, only thing missing from it was the lights on top of the car. It is MOST certainly a trap, book definition of highway robbery. I drive to work from here every day, no one drives 45, I was going to work late around 11 AM, there was no traffic at all. The question is HOW DO YOU CONTEST? This is clearly a revenue generation technique. Everyone has to be in on it. I know I do not speed, I mean if everyone else is going at 80 thats what I do but if I am not following the traffice, I do't go over the speed limit. It sucks.
