If you are coming up 2nd Ave North, watch out! As you are coming down the hill just past I40 MNPD likes to sit at the bottom of it on the corner of 2nd Ave and Elm St. The posted speed limit is 35 mph, but you will have to keep constant pressure applied to your brakes. If you go above the posted speed limit at any time on this hill, it is already to late. They have already caught you. They will step out in the middle of the road to flag you down. As always they are not interested in talking, or seeing your registration and proof of insurance. They just take your license, write you a ticket, and step back out in the road to wave in their next unsuspecting victim of the speed trap. The motorcycle police are extremly rude, so be careful. By the time that I got my vehicle turned around and headed back up the street they already had two more pulled over. (Approx. 45 sec after I was written up!)
