500 Wonderwood Drive (Hanna Park)
A City park, the cops sit around the first bend from the entrance, with radar/laser) and write anyone going just 6 MPH over the posted 25 MPH. Inside the park, closer to the beach, cops use radar/laser between parking lots 5 and 6, on "Seminole Rd". The cops also seem to put a lot of parking tickets on parked cars too. Imagine a "nice" day at the park costing $114, or more!!!

News people! I drive through Hanna Park twice daily, Mon-Fri for over 12 years and I have seen JSO (not military police) hiding in the strangest places, with radar gun cocked to catch speeders going to the base. No set patterns. I've warned three workmates with a lead foot and all three eventually got tickets within a couple of months. I only do five over and have had the radar pointed at me with no problem. Don't go six or more or you'll eventually get caught!
The Wonderwood Raceway is a speed trap from Kernan to Hanna Park. I've seen cars doing at 95-100 mph and my husband's shipmate got a ticket for doing 129 mph. Speed limit is 55 and I've done 60 with no problems. Watch out people and slow down. You're not safe once you get to the top of the hill, they hide in those big, fluffly bushes, cars on the side that look like they're broke down and sometimes a cop will be kneeling right in the middle with his gun and by the time you see him, it's too late. Busted!
