Cop usually sits in the parking lot of the Mobil gas station and if you’re travelling west on 8 mile you can’t see him because the party store blocks your view.

Yes, I have also seen him on 8 mile east of the party store catching traffic headed east around that curve by the mobile station and up the hill. By the time you see him it is too late.
