9th Street and West 3rd Street Street
County Sheriff officers hide in driveways and behind bushes in unmarked cars, a gold car and a white SUV. The speed limit is 35, but not posted alot on all county roads, in Penrose. It’s easy to find yourself going over the speed limit, especially when there are no signs to remind you.

This is not a speed trap. These are slow country roads where people ride horses, children play, livestock wander, and pets often cross. I would gladly invite an officer to hide in my driveway if it would stop some of the people oblivious to the hazards of speeding down these roads. All speeds on these roads are 30mph for a purpose. If you have to be reminded of the speed limit then you don't belong in Penrose.
