Correction: Route 50 (Main Street) passing through town is 2 miles long. In the 1/2 mile "business district" the speed limit is 25 mph and is very strictly enforced. During the school year, the speed limit on Route 50 passing the two schools is 25 mph and is enforced even more more strictly than at other times.
