Blairstone Road, heading south from Capital Circle to Mahan
There is a City utility yard in a small curve on the west side Blairstone, just north of Mahan. Blairstone there is a divided 4 lane road with no adjacent homes or businesses, but for some reason it’s a 35 MPH zone. (Anywhere else it would be a 45.) TPD sits there, aiming a speed gun north along that clear, straight strech of Blairstone, and it’s like taking candy from a baby.

This area is nearest the densest medical facilities in Tallahassee. Older and infirm people have erratic driving habits (I am an old fart) and their approach to turnoffs in this area is cautious and dangerous (Large signs not visible to tell first referenced specialties, curves, etc). The speed limit is lower and enforced to save lives when wrecks occur. People who are unfamiliar with the area are sent here on a regular basis by their primary physician in order to seek specialty help. Drive cautiously and you won't get a ticket.
