School zones for Bear Branch Elementary and Pines Montessori schools overlap; however, the private school, Pines Montessori, starts their times earlier and ends them later. Everyone assumes that the normal school zone times prevail, especially after reading the signs for the public school. Most people don’t read another sign because they figure they’ve just read it.
