The police frequently set up speed traps in the school zone in front of L’ecole Canadienne-francaise De Saskatoon. They’ll gun you right as you enter the school zone and pull you over into the alley behind the house on the corner of Clarence and 3rd St. A friend lives on 2nd Street and she indicates that the police are there on a regular basis pulling over people consistently. This gives me the impression that it’s an easy school zone to miss – otherwise why would the police be there on a regular basis? The City of Saskatoon really needs to improve the signage for school zones and protect our kids! School zone speed limits are in effect from 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday, September 1 to June 30.
