Coming into town on Rt 1 from the north by cemetery
There is a speed limit sign for 55mph, which is next to the cemetery. Then you have to go over a little hill. Just as soon as you go over the little hill there is a speed zone sign, then almost immediately after is a 35mph sign then right after that is a 25mph sign. Because the signs are after the hill you are right on top of them before you see them and they are all so close together you can not possibly slow down that quickly, at least not safely. The police will sit up on the hill in the cemetery and clock you in the 55mph zone and the 35mph zone and then pull you over in the 25mph zone and ticket for whatever speed you were supposedly going in the 25mph zone. Whether you were really speeding in that zone or not. Us locals know about it, so we slow down ahead of time, but tourists and travelers really get alot of tickets on this little stretch of Rt 1
