County Road 17, Just North of Mountain Avenue
Cops sit behind a sign at County Rd. 17 (Taft Rd.) on Lake Avenue next to Adams Bank, timing South-bound traffic as it enters Berthoud. Speed limit goes from 55 to 45 to 35 in a short distance, causing many to exceed the limit at the 35 sign just before Lake Ave.

Within the past week, I have seen police hiding in the location mentioned several times, and twice they had a car pulled over and were giving the driver a ticket. They use that location frequently because of the rapid reduction of the speed limit. I live within a few blocks of this location, and this is definitely a speed trap. Submitted by an NMA member.
