On Saturday, 02/28/09, two mortorcycle cops with radar guns were catching motorists headed northbound on Durango Dr. between Diablo Ave. and Hacienda Ave. This is where the speed limit suddenly drops from 45 mph to 35 mph in both directions. A high volume of traffic citations were being issued. Since it was the last day of the month, perhaps these two officers were doing an end-of-month closeout to generate revenue for their department. Perhaps they each had to hit their monthly quota for issuing traffic citations, like salespeople working on commission.
