This is usually when the weather warms up and people start to go faster, or rush hour (if volume doesn’t slow everyone down), weekends and holidays.
Usually a motorcycle officer on the corner of E. Bates Ave. at S. Chambers Rd., on either side, east or west. Sometimes an officer is by the light at Yale Ave., looks like a pedestrian waiting to cross. There is also a bus stop there, so if you slow down to see if it’s an RTD passenger or a cop….you are probably safe.
