The drop in speed going down the hill makes it difficult, however the reason for the drop in speed limit is an elementary school on the right side of the road near the bottom of the hill. Combined with a sharp corner right in the middle of town necessitates a low speed limit. Further officers rarely cite speeders who are within five of the posted speed limit.
