There is a sign on Highway 80 saying that the lane ends going west; the lane does not end but I did not know that . I passed an 18 wheeler after seeing the sign that the lane ends and I had time to pass before what I thought was an ending lane. I scooted back into my lane and slowed down to the correct speed limit. The policeman gave me a ticket saying I was speeding and the lane doesn’t end, so why the sign, if I would have known that I would not have tried to pass the 18 wheeler. I told him that I did not know that the land does not end but he said it did not matter as I was speeding. I feel as I was profiled as a traveler(Yakama on car with Texas license plates). I am not a speeder and have not had any tickets for ever speeding. This city is a trap and something should be done about it.
