Garden State Parkway near Exit Number 44
Be on the lookout. Last wed. night, 8/18/4, I was heading south on the Garden State Parkway, approaching exit 44, when suddenly, my Valentine One was hit by laser. That’s when I noticed a Trooper parked perpendicular to the road, on the median. Luckily I was only going about 70. The only thing that has ever set of the laser detector on my Valentine is the brake lights of the new Chevy Trailblazers and thier sister vehicles, and a couple of other new GM vehicles (I think certain Buicks also set it off) It appears that it was genuine "laser attack". I drive the Parkway a lot and this is the first time that I’ve seen or heard of this. It seems the "boys" are breaking out the Laser in South Jersey. Be careful. Another bad spot, heading south, is just past the Barnaget toll booth. About a 1/2 to 1-1/2 miles. There are several spots where they like to sit.
