This belongs to Waterloo Region Police, Guelph OPP and Hamilton Regional Police who all ticket liberally along the 18km road. Wellington County is on the North side of the road (Guelph OPP); on the South side, the eastern section is Hamilton, the western half is Waterloo (North Dumfries). It is an open rural road posted at 60 “because of the number of school buses”. Tickets are given out at all times of the day – especially during the week, and NOT when the buses are running! They are never there on weekends when people do truly speed (often well over 100kph), but they like to ticket those doing around 20kph over the 60 limit – more likely toward the end of the month.
