Hall Johnson Rd. & Heritage Ave.

One of Grapevine’s prime revenue generating spots; plenty of traffic, most aren\’t Grapevine residents, and the speed limit is ridiculously low to boot. Got me today (and I live here and know better)… motorcycle /w radar sitting on side street (Grace Ln.) tagging eastbound traffic. Sometimes a car will sit in the median doing the same. I boycott Grapevine merchants dollar-for-dollar for the tickets I get passing through their shity.

Comments:
This is a very unfair speed trap because they target traffic as it picks up speed coming down a steep hill on Hall Johnson Road. To stay within the speed limit, a motorist must apply brakes all the way down the hill! With a posted 35 mph speed limit, it's very easy to exceed. Most of the time you will see the cops parked in the median turn lane facing westbound, which is not only sneaky, but a hazard as well!

The speed limit is 35 ... what should it be "coming downhill", 50? Few cars today will increase that much, mind your speed.
