Highway 12 east of Highway 87 to Louisiana state line
The area is a 55 mph zone and tickets have been issued for drivers going 56. There was one recent instance in which a funeral home vehicle going to pick up at a body was ticketed for speeding. There are numerous areas for patrol cars to sit unnoticed (parks, businesses, etc.) and patrol cars are regulary patrolling this stretch of road.
