Highway 16, So (aka Sidney Baker south)
Coming north over the bridge in front of the Rio Robles residential area, is a rather steep decline. Up to this point, the posted speed limit is 45, but it then becomes 35 mph. Unless one is driving under 35 mph before ascending the hill, it is almost impossible not to be going over the 35 mph at the bottom, so if they wanted, they could pull over 80% of the traffic at any given time.
One night, I saw at least six cars being ticketed- at that time, with more to come. Flashing lights were everywhere. What a feeding frenzy!
