Local Lakeview City police (pop 2000) patrols state Highway 216 all day, from I 20/59 out 216 to their city limit sign . Speed limit is posted 35 MPH. Don’t get caught not paying attention. They will stop and ticket you. Road clearly should be posted 50 to 60 MPH. I’m convinced the two policemen fund this city’s" total budget. "
