Agreed 100% that is is definitely a speed trap and it cannot be considered as anything but. It is sooo wrong to change the speed every 4-6 blocks...it sets drivers up for failure everytime. I am a driver of 37 years and have NEVER been stopped for speeding...not because I haven't been caught..but because I don't speed. My driving record speaks for itself. I will NEVER EVER travel thru Lawtey Florida again. There is something to be said for an exclusive website dedicating itself to the speed trap in Lawtey. There is something seriously wrong here. It also bothers me that Lawtey pulls in a majority of the income solely on speeding ticket dollars. My intention is to do some serious research on this subject, back it up with the facts, and become the squeaky wheel. I have nothing but time at this point as a retiree.
