Hwy 135 from the West city limits into and leaving town.
Highway speed limit is 70 MPH and at the west city limit drops to 55 MPH and then quickly to 40 MPH. This area is open highway. The police park just beyond the speed limit signs and ticket motorist coming into Overton as well as those leaving the town.

Actually the speed limit drops to 50 then 40!!!! Since you all see us setting there get off the gas, and you probably will not get pulled over. It is our job to enforce traffic laws and yes SPEEDING is against the law!!!! You dont want a ticket then drive the POSTED speed limit!!!!
