Hwy 34 in what was the town of Silver Street in Newberry Co.
The town no longer exist, no businesses just a few homes. There is still a Mayor who has the Sheriffs office set in between two 35 mph signs in what should be a 55 highway. The deputy stated the only reason he is there is due to the mayor complaining about cars driving through "his" town. He stated there was no safety reason for the restriction.
