Hwy. 39 Just East of Hunt, Texas
During the summer months only. If you are coming into Hunt from Ingram observe the speed limit signs as you approach Hunt the speed limit drops to 45 as you come to the first river crossing. Less than a mile later it drops to 35 just before the 2nd river crossing. There are curves in this area and the police car is not visible from the 35mph sign. Truthfully our police tend to be more liberal than many areas, but they are there and they do write tickets. But, because they tend to be more liberal, when they do write tickets you are usually well over the speed limit and they get expensive.
