This little ‘burg unitl recently, had billbaords posted by locals telling folks to observe their speed(s). After a bypass was built around the town, the city promptly annexed 5 miles of new highway and the land right of way to allow the issueing of citations. After complaints to the state, the DOT stepped in, slapped there hands and legally bound the city fathers to pull the city limits back to the original boundaries. Watch your speed in town as well as the overpass into town. Highway Patrol, ’nuff said.
