The Bridge goes across both US 421 and the Cape Fear River and has both an uphill portion and a downhill portion. At the bottom of the downhill portion on the other side (east) of the river, sometimes either the Highway Patrol or the Sheriffs Department sit there at the bottom tucked in either the grassy median on the left or the “specially made” hidden embankment on the right clocking and pulling.
