I-20 between Bush River Rd (mm63) and Hwy 378 (mm61)
SC Highway Patrol takes advantage of the steep hills in this location, in both directions. As the speed decreases eastbound from 70 to 60 just before mm61, HP hides just past the breach of the hill to catch drivers who didn’t reduce speed and/or are letting the decline speed them up.
Additionally, HP and Lexington County often run radar checks from the overpass at mm63 (Broad River Rd, the border of the county) with teams of cars waiting on the ramp to pull over drivers going westbound into Lexington County.
