I drive routinely North and South between exit 42 and 39 and encounter moderate to heavy enforcement of State Troopers in Crown Vic’s, and Bradenton Police in Caprice’s. I’m using a Valentine One which always picks them up on the K and Ka bands usually a mile in advance. They are usually hiding near shrubbery in the center divider. Get a Valentine or take it easy between exit 40 and 41, and you’ll be fine.
