Every Saturday and Sunday morning, Plano has an officer parked in the shopping center parking lot that catches you as you come around the corner, south on Independence. The speed limit has dropped from 40 m.p.h to 30 m.p.h. and many motorist are unaware. This is an old speed zone and has not been brought into all of the other speed zones going north or south, east or west. This officer has someone pulled over every morning and I have had two guys that I play golf with given tickets.
