Interstate 15
There is no ‘7 mph over the limit allowance’ in Idaho. When the speed limit was bumped from 55 to 75, the Idaho Attorney General publicly announced that the new speed limit would be Strictly enforced on the Interstate system through Idaho. I can just about guarantee that if you pass a trooper at 82, you will be ticketed! I’ve been stopped and warned at 77. Wednesday afternoon northbound through early Monday morning southbound, the Utah drivers going to and from Island Park and Yellowstone hammer through there like they’re going through SLC. It’s ugly. ISP responds, it seems, to the level of complaints received.
